Vocabulary · A1 foundation
Scope: A1-focused, with selected early-A2 bridges. Not the full A2/B1 vocabulary.
826 vocabulary records, 153 useful phrases and 17 example conversations. A record may be a word, a phrase or a separate sense; this is not a count of unique dictionary words.
German + English + Hinglish in Roman letters. Hinglish explains meaning; it is not a pronunciation guide for German. Masculine/feminine Hinglish endings may change with the speaker. German articles and noun gender must be learned independently.

All 17 topics follow the same order: vocabulary, useful phrases, then an example conversation. Each vocabulary record keeps its original ID, forms and German example. Sources and coverage limits are at the end; no separate guides are needed.
Sources and coverage
This bank is independently authored, not an official Goethe list. English/Hinglish meanings describe the selected sense, not every possible dictionary meaning. The examples and dialogues are original learning content; events and prices are fictional. There has not been an item-by-item audit against the complete official inventory or independent native-editor review.
Goethe's A1 word-list introduction, page 5 describes about 650 entries. Its B1 word-list introduction, page 5 describes about 2,400 lexical units, expected at least receptively. These counting conventions are not interchangeable with this pack's 826 records. More records alone would not demonstrate full coverage. These official scope statements were checked on 10 September 2026.
A selective check against the same A1 word list on 11 September 2026 added Absender, Empfänger and Durchsage to their existing topics. The definitions and examples here are independently written. This closes those three identified gaps; full inventory reconciliation remains outstanding.

The foundation was reorganised by topic and its Hindi meanings rewritten as Hinglish. On 11 September 2026, five missing phrase sections (33 phrases) and seven missing conversations were added so that all 17 topics follow the same structure. The existing vocabulary records, phrases, conversations and their IDs were preserved. No paid product, subscription or API is required to use these Markdown files. External recordings and official tests remain linked at their original source rather than republished.
About the grammar

40 chapters combine grammar, pronunciation, phrases and examples. English explains the rules; Hinglish gives the meanings of the main examples. German spelling and IPA are preserved. The stage labels are an editorial organisation, not a fixed official Goethe grammar checklist.

This is a reference, not a mock-exam bank. The former transfer-test prompts have been replaced with worked examples. Sources and review limits are at the end.
Grammar sources
The explanations and examples are independently written teaching material, not Goethe-issued lessons. The underlying German content is carried forward from Part 1; this revision reorganises it, changes Hindi to Hinglish and replaces stand-alone test prompts with examples. Independent native-editor review and full official-inventory reconciliation remain outstanding. Fictional examples are not personal, legal or medical guidance.
